Qualisteelcoat et EN 1090: the grip for the future of coating companies

Since the 30th of December 2018, coating companies who already acquire the Qualisteelcoat-label, can also get the 1090-Declaration of conformity. This allows the manufacturer of the steel structure to mention that the quality of his Factory Production Control (FPC) is guaranteed. VOM, the Belgian licensee for QUALISTEELCOAT, has an agreement with IFO GmbH (Institut für Oberflachentechnik) from Germany, accredited to conformity certificates, to perform the EN 1090-audit via control lab METALOGIC. The coating company can let the EN 1090 inspection take place at the same time as the mandatory annual QSC-audit, or at another time. The EN 1090 conformity certificate is valid for the period of 1 year, as well as QUALISTEELCOAT-tag.
